The UAE has very stringent rules regarding telemarketing and promotional calls/SMS. As of August 2024! significant changes have been implement. Key points include:

No Personal Mobile Numbers for Marketing: You cannot use personal mobile numbers (e.g.! 050! 052! 054 numbers register to individuals) for business promotions.

Company-Register Local Numbers Only:

All telemarketing calls and SMS must originate from local numbers register under your company’s commercial license in the UAE.
